"The Response" in MarylandThe state of Maryland has a very special relationship to "The Response." The film was conceived during a course at the University of Maryland School of Law, and filming took place at the university with the help of a grant from the law school. The University of Maryland School of Law is an executive producer on the film, and is the beneficiary (along with Street Law) of proceeds of DVD sales. Panel discussions about "The Response" took place at the University of Marlyand School of Law in Februrary and October 2008. Screenings of "The Response" were conducted in June, 2010, in Maryland, in conjunction with Amnesty International's Counter Terror with Justice Campaign.
